What a ridiculous thing to say. Channel 5 didn’t produce it, they just broadcast it. It was made for Lifetime and screened in America last year.

The cast in this biopic play characters, not themselves. Why shouldn’t they be Canadian or American? Jo made that stipulation for the adaptations of her books, not for anything depicting her ad finitum.
